Staff Guidelines
Staff Guidelines
What do we look for in staff? We are looking for people
who are helpful, can offer a listening ear, who can give
good advice and guidance, have time to give to the site,
someone who enjoys working as part of a team, who is not
afraid to say what they feel. Potential staff should
have at least 3 days or nights that they can commit to
the site. Confidentiality is a must. Anything that is
heard on site MUST be kept in site.
What Each position on site involves
Senior Guardians
Senior Guardians are the equivalent of a Manager. They
help with the running of the site, organise classes, run
classes, approve new members, change members details if
required, deal with any problems on the site, and can
take the decision to ban someone if necessary, although
the owner will have the final say.
Guardians
Guardians are the equivalent of Staff and also Trainee
Staff. They will help to monitor the rooms, watch
readings, check ips, help and advise Members, they will
also be able to eject any member from chat, if there has
been a problem. Guardians cannot permanently ban a
member, that is down to a Senior Guardian or the Owner.
Guardians should have at least 3 nights or days to spare
to help on the site. When taken on as Staff you will be
on a 3 month trial, during which time, if things do not
work out, you will be asked to hand your hat in.
Room Guardians
Room Guardians are on site to help Guardians. They do
not have Admin functions, or access to the staff room.
They will help guide new members, welcome them to the
site, help with any queries they may have, inform
members if there are classes on. A room Guardian is
suitable for anyone who doesn't want staff
responsibility or have the time to commit to the site.
All Guardians or Room Guardians are taken on will be on
a trial period, after which the owner will decide if the
person has what it takes to be part of our team.
We expect our Guardians to be helpful to all who enter
here
No Readings may be given to anyone under the age of 18
We ask that Guardians take note of the Ip's of those
that enter chat.
Anything you hear on site is kept confidential. Anyone
caught discussing site matters will be banned
permanently from the site with no warning.
Guardians must be present during any reading, to give
advice and guidance if needed.
The owners cannot be held responsible for any
conversations that have taken place on PM or in MSN. You
do so at your own risk., and any disagreements must not
be taken on site.
The owners decision is final.
All Guardians and Room Guardians should also follow the
members guidelines, and be able to advise members if
they have broken one of these. They should also get to
know where everything is on the site so that they can
tell members where to find information.
Room Guardians cannot supervise readings.
Guardians can not take a member into room 9 without an
SG~ present.
